VCS Symposium 2009

Visual and Critical Studies Symposium 2009

Saturday, April 4th, 2009
Timken Lecture Hall, 10 am – 4 pm

“Looking at the world,” whether through the lens of a tourist, consumer, volunteer, artist, photographer, archivist, activist, hipster, curator, architect, or environmentalist, involves the formation and communication of visual images. These compelling presentations by CCA students in the Graduate Program in Visual and Critical Studies critically examine our complex visual landscape.

This is the Visual and Critical Studies Program’s main spring event. Those interested in applying to the program are welcome to attend. Here you will see the culmination of research conducted over the past several years by our graduate students. Meet faculty, current graduate students, and admissions staff who can answer your questions about the program.
