Kim Anno is a painter and bookmaker whose work has been shown internationally. Recently she has had exhibitions at the Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta, Patricia Sweetow Gallery in San Francisco, The Bennington Museum in Vermont, the Varnosi Museum in Hungary, DC Dusseldorf International Expo (Germany), Pulse, Miami, and the Berkeley Art Museum, among others. She is a recipient of the Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation Purchase award for San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Honolulu Academy of Art Museum, and the Eureka Foundation’s Fleishhaker Fellowship. Currently she is working on an artists’ book project titled, Sleep, with the poet Anne Carson.
